Checklist Meeting Notice

The Belmont Supervisors of the Checklist will be in public session at the Belmont Town Hall, 143 Main Street, Belmont NH on Tuesday, January 19, 2021, from 7:00 pm - 7:30 pm for the first day of filing for town offices, (filing period ends January 29, 2021, 5pm at Town Hall). In addition to accept new voter registrations, and any changes for the upcoming Town Elections. DUE TO COVID restrictions, MASKS are required.

Declaration of Candidacy for the March Town election will be accepted at the Town Clerk's Office from Wednesday January 20, 2021 through Friday January 29, 2021.

Voting

You may register to vote or make changes in your registration in accordance with applicable guidelines at either the Town Clerk's Office or at a meeting of the Supervisors of the Voter Checklist. Items needed include:

Proof of US Citizenship     -     Proof of Belmont residency     -     Drivers License or other photo identification

ELECTION LAW, effective September 1, 2015 - Voters must show a valid photo ID to vote OR he/she may execute a challenged voter affidavit, and the Moderator shall take a photograph of the voter and attach photo to the affidavit in order to vote on election day,(RSA 659:13 Obtaining a Ballot)
